Hello folks, happy Monday! We have record-breaking heat here in the UK, with temperatures currently at 38°C (100°F). Fortunately my co-working office has been blasting the AC all day, so much so that it’s 62°F in here and I’m actually wearing a sweatshirt.
If you’re not so lucky and your building’s AC shuts off if the temperature exceeds 86°F so the system “doesn’t overheat” — that is a real thing in the UK — the Guardian has some useful advice on working rights in such weather.
