✍️✍️ Conferences, Deadlines, Events and Fellowships ✍️✍️ — November 4

Hello folks, happy Friday! Over the past few months, some of our most-read newsletters have been those that have included upcoming conferences, events and fellowships. It’s time to expand that.

Today is the first of what I hope will be a long-lasting partnership with the folks at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism. Each Friday they’ll help us add a new set of conferences, events and fellowships coming up in the next month. Then in Monday’s edition, we’ll focus on news events, newsroom tools and interesting articles to help us better understand and do our jobs.

We’ll kick things off with eight conferences, events and fellowships taking place and whose deadlines are in November, and continue to build the list each week.

Remember to check out Monday’s jobs update newsletter where we added more than 800 new openings at the likes of the AP, BBC, CANAL+, CNN, Condé Nast, Disney, Guardian, HelloFresh, NYT, Paramount, Refinery29, Sky, The Telegraph, USA Today, Warner Media, Washington Post and YouGov.

And if you’re looking for an internship, check out this free list we collated, which has around 400 active internship openings that we’ll update each and every week.

Enjoy your weekends, we’ll do it again Monday! 👋
