✍️ Journalism Awards, Events and Fellowships Deadlines ✍️ — September 15

Hello folks and welcome to another edition of Inside The Newsroom, home of the largest dedicated journalism jobs and internships board in the land. It’s Friday, which means we have another update to our calendar of the best upcoming journalism awards, events and fellowships. I’m always looking to improve value for money, so if there’s anything you think will improve the product, please do drop me a comment or reply to this email.

If you missed Monday’s media news roundup, we looked at when it’s appropriate for journalists to get involved in a story; the $500 million pledged donation to local news; how and why media and politics became obsessed with age; the latest landmark legislation announced by the EU to crackdown on Big Tech; and why it’s important to invest in your newsroom work culture.

If it’s the jobs and internships board you’re looking for, you can gain access to around 1,500 of them for as little as $6, €6 or £5 a month.

And be sure to share us with your networks to gain free access to the board and other premium benefits, just for sharing your unique link. More info here.

That’s all from me this week, enjoy your weekends and we’ll be back on Tuesday for more jobs and news! 👋
