✍️ Journalism Awards, Events, Fellowships and Trainings ✍️ — November 17

Hello folks, happy Friday! Another week, another record. Today we have a ginormous 63 total listings on the calendar, broken down as follows: 33 fellowships/grants (6 new); 25 webinars/events (9 new); and six awards (two new).

I know I seem to repeat this every week, but the more I search, the more I find. There really are dozens of opportunities out there, and it’s my pleasure to find them for you.

If you missed Tuesday’s jobs and news update, we added another 454 new active openings at the biggest and smallest names across North America and Europe. And if it’s internships you’re looking for, we still have around 60 applications still open for spring and summer next year.

Try a free week trial of our paid subscriptions, which includes access to all ~1,500 journalism jobs and internships currently listed on our jobs board, as well as membership to our Candidate Board so recruiters come to you directly instead of the other way around. Not convinced? Here’s what more than 40 of our subscribers have said about using ITN to find them a new job or internship.

And in terms of news, we looked at the Paris Charter on AI and journalism; Neuralink being ready to be implanted into human brains; the British takeover of U.S. journalism; Taylor Swift and the state of music journalism; workplace fear; how to make a profit in the modern media landscape and much more…

If you have a job, internship, fellowship, webinar, conference or award that you want to promote in our newsletter and on the board, fill out this quick form and we’ll get 17,000 pairs of eyes on your opening/opportunity.

That’s it for this week. Thank you as ever for reading and all of your support. Have nice weekends and we’ll do it all again next week. Adios!
