🚨 Last-Minute Internships and Fellowships

Hello folks! Friday is somehow already upon us, which means it’s time for a giant list of open internships. Most of those listed are for this summer, but I’ve also sprinkled in a few for the autumn so you can get a head start for your post-summer plans.

If you do happen to apply to any openings listed, be sure to mention that you found them from Inside The Newsroom — that way we can continue to grow etc etc!

In other news, I was sad to see the resignation of Meredith Clark from the News Leaders Association’s diversity survey project. Meredith had led the survey since 2018, and this year the NLA said it wanted participation from at least 2,500 print and online newsrooms, but announced it had received reponses from just 303. We’ll hopefully have a Q&A on what happened with Meredith very soon.
