đ 379 New Jobs Added + Call For Help
Total jobs now up to almost 1,500 full-time, part-time, freelance and internship positions across the U.S., UK and Canada
Morning folks, canât believe itâs the start of a new week already, but such is life right now. Lots of things to get through today, so weâll get right to it.
First up is our HUGE update to the job board over the weekend. We flushed out some old jobs and added 379 new full-time, part-time, freelance and internship positions, which is officially our largest ever. Also setting a record is the total number of positions listed, which now stands at a whopping 1,429, and it wonât be long until we reach our target of 2,000.
Next up is a call for some more help with Inside The Newsroom. Weâre looking for someone to help out with scraping new datasets to build up our Data Corner, which weâll be expanding significantly. Interested? Send an email to daniellevitt32@gmail.com. No need for a cover letter, but do include a CV/rĂŠsumĂŠ to speed things up.
Speaking of data, a quick shout out to our friends at Humber College in Toronto, who are hosting their Data Driven conference virtually this year, which is Canadaâs version of the NICAR and IRE conferences. You can join for free and listen to expert panels on how to find new datasets and how to tell impactful stories using data. Join for free below⌠đ

Job Corner âď¸
Next up are all the details youâll need to access this weekâs job board, including 189 deadlines in the next 10 days.
Due to a limit on the number of people that can be added to a Google Spreadsheet, Iâve made two versions listing exactly the same jobs, so no need to have access to both. If youâre a paying member, youâll have access to one of the two below links/buttons⌠đ

Lillieâs Corner đś
And finally, here are some pictures of the most adorable dogs sent it from yaâll last week. Unfortunately I had to hand back my beagle Lillie to the Dogs Trust a couple of weeks ago, due to a pretty hefty bite, so weâll keep her spirit going until I get another oneâŚ
First up is Argos who was sent in by Daphne. Argos is named after Ulysses and his Dog, and is joined by his little friend Bufo the kitten!
Next up is Jamie-Louiseâs adorable beagle, who looks like a cheeky monkey as well as a dogâŚ
And lastly, thank you to Christine Driscoll for sending in a picture of this happy chappy, whoâs a lovely senior Blue Heeler, and is just fine to sleep and keep whoever needs it company all day⌠đ

Thatâs all for today. See you on Wednesday for Inside The Middle East! đ
