✍️✍️ Jobs Update ✍️✍️ — May 9

Hey folks, happy Monday! We had another busy weekend working on the job board, adding more than 700 new openings! You can find a preview of those at the bottom, or subscribe here for full access.

This week is the last to vote in the American Journalism Online Awards! Run by New York University, the aim is to recognize excellence in reporting, writing and news production across genres and no matter the format.

Categories include Best News-Based Podcast, Best Solo Newsletter, Best Non-Profit Organization, Best Data Visualization, among many others. Please do mention that you were passed along by Inside The Newsroom to help us keep spreading the word! Deadline to nominate and vote is this Sunday May 15th…

Be sure to also check out our hundreds of upcoming deadlines from Friday, including at the likes of the AFP, American Public Media Group, BBC, Bell Media Canadian Press, European Journalism Centre, The Guardian and Sky.

Okay, new jobs below, we’ll speak again Friday… Ciao! 👋
